Want to know how to attract more people to your e-commerce site during the upcoming holiday season? During a recent webinar, “Amazing PPC Tactics for Retailers, Making Your PPC Campaign Relevant,” speaker David Szetela from Clix Marketing shared some tips for altering your Internet marketing and pay-per-click (PPC) plan for the holiday season so you can attract more visitors to your site and in turn, increase your sales.
Follow these PPC suggestions to get more Web site traffic this holiday season:
- Offer free shipping with no minimum purchase price during November and December. This will encourage more people to shop your e-commerce site instead of making in-store holiday purchases.
- Beef up your Microsoft Ad Center. Add more ads to your Bing PPC campaigns to get the attention of more people surfing the Web.
- Try Facebook and LinkedIn. If you aren’t already on these sites, sign up now! Not only are they a great way to connect with customers and potential customers, but they’re also a great place to advertise your site.
- Update your creative frequency. Use a “call to action” to create a sense of urgency that entices every viewer of your ad to click on it.
- Rely on 3rd party tools when dealing with big PPC campaigns.
- Plan and launch post-Christmas campaigns such as after-Christmas sale advertisements.
By following these PPC tips you’re sure to jump-start your Internet marketing campaign and get more Web site traffic to your site as well as increase your profit this holiday season.
